Application Deployer Released: airfield v0.0.1 📎

airfield is an Apache-licensed, self-contained, command line utility, which pulls all required binaries from a remote GIT repo. After the initial installation, only updates are fetched from a remote GIT-server.

Only a local Java installation is required:

java -jar airfield.jar [LOCAL_INSTALLATION_DIR] [REMOTE_GIT_REPO]

Airfield is motivated by several questions from afterburner.fx community regarding installation and updates of Java FX applications. However, airfield is not limited to Java-application provisioning and is used during the airhacks workshops to push materials and samples in real time to attendees machines. There is no local GIT installation required.

Checkout airfield at github.
